Salesforce Summer 20 Release Postponed

Due to Corona Virus (COVID-19) breakout, Salesforce has postponed release of Summer 20 to later date. Official communication has been done by Salesforce.

As we all know, world is struggling to get rid of COVID-19 virus and stabilize the human life. We continuously try to update our blog readers regarding latest news about Salesforce.

Beginning of this month, Salesforce CEO Marc Benioff shared an update regarding COVID-19. He also made a commitment which includes necessary adjustments to create stability and consistency for customers.

As per the requests from existing customers, Salesforce decided to reduce the level of technology change during COVID-19 period.

Salesforce Summer 20 Release Postponed

As per the official mail communication by Salesforce, Earlier, The Summer ’20 sandbox preview was scheduled for May 8, 2020, and the Summer ’20 production release to your instance was originally scheduled for June 12, 2020. But this schedule has been changes, so the new dates for sandbox preview and the Summer ’20 release to production are as follows:

  • Sandbox preview: May 29-30, 2020
  • Production release: July 17-18, 2020
